When it comes to senior discounts keep in mind that many retailers and restaurants now use 50 or 55 (not 65) as the age when the senior discount applies.  Most companies will use your drivers license to give you the discount while others will require you to sign up for their senior discount card (for example Elephant Bar Restaurants and Burkes Outlet (also known as Bealls Outlet).

Don’t forget that some retailers and grocery stores will allow you to use your senior discount in addition to the store and manufacturer coupons.
