The Internet puts valuable information and discounts at your finger tips allowing for immediate access.  Some websites offer discount and coupon codes that provide savings off your purchase or even free or discounted shipping.  Whenever you plan to make a purchase online try these things:

• Google the name or even brand name of the item you want to purchase and use words like “best price” in your search.
• Consider visiting the manufacturer’s website directly and look for a Special Offers, Discounts, Sale or Promotion tab on their site.
• If you know ahead of time what you intend to buy and you want a particular brand name, then sign up for newsletters at the manufacturer’s website.
